Ricardo & Yesenia, founders of Pacific Travel in 1998, have over 20 years experience in the tourism industry in the beautiful destination of Manuel Antonio.
Ricardo has held general management positions in hotels, major tour operations and as the general manager for over 3 years with Homes & Villas Vacations Costa Rica.
Through his experience in the tourism industry Ricardo sought a transportation company for his clients that offered them something more than a simple transfer from one point to another, and found none.
So he decided to enter this service, offering customers a better travel experience.
Ricardo decided to include brief stops in places of natural, ecological, cultural, or scenic interest. His drivers were to be very informative of the area and of Costa Rica in general so that if customers were interested, they could learn about the country and the areas they were driving through. He also added stops at the discretion of the customer to eat, shop for souvenirs or groceries , or simply to stop and enjoy a Tico cocktail.
After a short time in business, our customers were so happy with the service that they requested more destinations. We decided to expand our fleet and added destinations throughout Costa Rica to meet the needs of our customers.
