Once they pick you up the adventure in history and nature begins, starting with the Quepos Indians and leading you through the changes of Manuel Antonio until today. Enjoy learning about Costa Rica’s exotic plants and rare wildlife as you ride through the tropical jungle and private ecological reserve at Tocori, just minutes away from Manuel Antonio.

After a relaxing one hour ride on horseback through the tropical rain forest – with the pace determined by your comfort level and riding ability – leave your horses on the trail as Don Gilberto or his daughter Dyala guide you through the exotic plant and animal life on a nature walk. They will let you taste, smell, touch and observe the real Costa Rican jungle first-hand. After indulging your mind and spirit with expert knowledge, take a refreshing dip in pristine natural mountain waters while being splashed on by a stunning waterfall at Tocori.

And don’t forget to enjoy an unforgettable taste of local fresh fruits and a homemade special tropical drinks made exclusively by Doña Eli, Don Gilberto´s wife, all while you relax and cool off next to the waterfalls. After being refreshed, you are ready for a ride through meandering Tocori streams to the private ranch where Doña Eli will be your hostess as she shares with you a homemade Costa Rican “casado” – a typical Costa Rican dish or terrific BBQ.

Fees for Tours
Rates are based with a minimum of two people per booking on all tours in the areas of Manuel Antonio, Jaco and Dominical (except tour of Horseback Riding on the Beach and Carara with minimum 4 people) for reservations for customers who are in the area of Dominical between Uvita and Ballena Cristal, rates are based on a minimum of 4 persons.

Rates Private Tours
All private rates are calculated on a base of 6 people, if the group is more than 4 people, each additional person will pay regular rate.

Children Policies
All children under 6 years old are free of charge.
All children within 6 years old or more pay in full net rate.
All children must be under an adult behave.

Cancellation Policies
If necessary, please submit cancellations by telephone, e-mail, fax or to our main office in Quepos, Costa Rica. Unfortunately, there will be no refund on cancellations made later than 48 hours before the confirmed pick up time for any tour. For group tours, there are no refunds on cancellations made 7 days before the date of the tour. If there are any questions in regard to these policies, please call our Director of Operations directly.

Social Policies
We respect and protect our animals. Therefore the limit of weight for the horseback riding tours is 230 pounds.
We have social and ecological programs, please ask, if you require any additional information.

Requirements
Make sure you are able to ride at least at an easy pace for about 2 hours. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and possibly long pants, bathing suit, bug repellant, sun block lotion, camera, hat, towel, and maybe an extra change of clothes to wear after swimming and riding in the Tocori river and waterfalls.
