This tour in the estuary of Damas Island is a rare experience leading you to discover the flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest and the unique mangrove ecosystem while you cruise quietly through the numerous water channels in one of our boats.
Once your guide has spotted the perfect location, you will stop and begin with the sport fishing. You will be able to catch snooks, roosters, corvinas, mackerels, red snappers and black snappers. This activity is perfect for an experienced fisherman or a family just the same. Capture the magic of the mangrove waters and learn about trolling or the local art of fishing with yoyos which is spectacular. Your specialist guide will assist you and prepare live bait, help with the equipment and watch out for your comfort with refreshments and more.

Fees for Tours
Rates are based with a minimum of two people per booking on all tours in the areas of Manuel Antonio, Jaco and Dominical (except tour of Horseback Riding on the Beach and Carara with minimum 4 people) for reservations for customers who are in the area of Dominical between Uvita and Ballena Cristal, rates are based on a minimum of 4 persons.
Rates Private Tours
All private rates are calculated on a base of 6 people, if the group is more than 4 people, each additional person will pay regular rate.
Children Policies
All children under 6 years old are free of charge.
All children within 6 years old or more pay in full net rate.
All children must be under an adult behave.
Cancellation Policies
If necessary, please submit cancellations by telephone, e-mail, fax or to our main office in Quepos, Costa Rica. Unfortunately, there will be no refund on cancellations made later than 48 hours before the confirmed pick up time for any tour. For group tours, there are no refunds on cancellations made 7 days before the date of the tour. If there are any questions in regard to these policies, please call our Director of Operations directly.
